This position holds two distinct primary responsibilities. They are to design materials and execute mechanicals from which publications or vendors can efficiently produce world-class communications materials. This includes responsibility for the designs/mechanicals that this individual creates to the designs/mechanicals that their team members create. The Graphic Artist position is a hybrid position where the individual is an integral part of both the creation and execution processes of N-GEN STUDIOS. The individual must be able to call on a deep and flexible skill set to either design or execute materials and alternate between the two processes on the fly. Partnering with client side Creatives and Project Managers is required in order to meet this goal. Supervisory Responsibilities: none Required Qualifications/Experience: A minimum of a BA in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or related field. Experience within an agency, design firm, or in-house graphics service or equivalent is a plus. A strong aesthetic eye is mandatory. Detail-orientated. Hardware and software skills required: Macintosh platform Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Quark Xpress Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel a plus Prepress or production knowledge mandatory, experience within a related company types is a plus.
